Angry 2008 BMW 353i plows my RX8 into the wall

So im driving down the North dalas texas tollway at 11:00 pm about half a mile before it turns into one lane following a BMW about 2 car lenghts behind going about 40mph i look over to the right and how they are doing the construction on the tollway and here comes a BMW entering in on the tollway not yeilding gunning it trying to beat the other BMW in front of me . I moved over to the left lane that about to be conned i move to the side of him while he is trying to come to a stop after the sudden slam of breaks from the guy in front of me, without looking over in the left lane he makes a full body side impact Hitting his front left bumper and driver side pushing my Baby into the wall. Visual estimate is already at 3689.99 IM im soo pissed right now. I guess im just venting but thank god it was a attorney in a new BMW and not a no insured driver in a beater.

Wow, that sucks. At least you didn't get hurt, and though for some reason I can't see your attached pictures, I'm taking it the damage is fixable.

Just because he's an attorney; don't let him boss you around. Did you call your insurance company?

I did one better i called hisins co. I'm just glad the state trooper came out made the report and drew a picture on it clearly putting him in the wrong. Im actually on the phone with my insurance company right now! Apparently he just started being a lawyer.

Talk to a lawyer on your own to be sure - you insurance company doesn't care about you, they just want to pay as little money as possible. Most of the time covering their own *** means defending yours, but you never know.

Sounds like you should be fine, but if you moved into a closing lane this a-hole will certainly try to screw you (even though he clearly failed to yield upon entering the roadway)

Did the other bmw driver stop and give an account of what happened?

That sucks big time, the Tollway can be really dangerous with the all the curves and pretty much no shoulder hardly anywhere to pull off on if there is any trouble. Glad you're ok though.

Not surprising - I hit nearly a grand from a small 6"x12" dent that damaged both my front and rear doors on a previous car. Body work and auto repair are absurdly expensive.

The estimate is high because the damage is for multiple body panels (more time, more labor, more to paint, more parts ect) . The good thing is it's all cosmetic and nothing structural.

LOL now that was funny Yeah he was pretty much screwed when the super trooper started drawing the picture of how it happened.

NO the other guy didnt stop he just sped off , its funny how the beemer that hit me thought i was the one entering the tollway, i was like "well if i entered the tollway on the right and winded up getting hit on my right that was a hell of a circle i made, clearly you wasnt paying attention was you ?"

Funny thing is the clears are sitting at Angelas house and both of my front rims and tires are F*&^ed!!

Another reason to hate BMWs.

I've been hating them since I was a kid, no special reason, well, I think that most BMW drivers are *********. maybe maybe.

my little brother is a bmw nut, he had an e32L, and recently purchased an e36s. he is a bit of a hot head. but he's pretty cool. :P

dont sue. dont get involved with all that. im currently being sued by some ******* who was at fault. (he was going slower than me, and then cut me off at the last second, to pull an illegal u-turn from the left lane at a green light.) luckily it wasnt my rx8. anyway, that whole mess is retarded and has been dragging on for awhile. at the beginning my insurance wanted to settle with them, but apparently these ******** have done that before and i told them we are taking them to court. i want these guys to pay for their lawyer, court fees, and then lose. it will be sweet satisfaction. and frankly, neither my insurance nor i see how they will win. it was tossed at out at 1 point, and they resubmitted it. what idiots.

anyway, dont get involved with all that legal bullshit. it is a ridiculous headache. if you want some quick cash (ty to manswers @ spike tv) donate sperm! up to $600 per donation. this one guy does it for a living and makes $60k a year. holy crap. as soon as i get my ba and im totally in for this.

edit: also, bmw does not make a 353i. i'd bet a few people sure wished they did. (although i've seen custom a 345i) i bet you meant 335i. :P

Ha! Well now, don't kill the messenger, young lady. I'm just pointing out the facts and not responsible for the hand of fate.

My 8 is all tucked-in for winter. Safely garaged for at least another ten weeks or so. If it gets in an accident, it means an airplane crashed into the house, and the Mazda will be the least of my worries.
