Typically everyone else on the internet, including those who don't even care, will have the inside scoop on new projects before many dealerships employees will. This is because you have enthusiasts online looking for any hint of something new but employees are just there to make money. Most of them aren't into your car like you are. It's just a job for them and they don't snoop around for the next big thing. Some are though. Typically they only know what is about to hit the showroom floor. I have never heard any credible information from anyone at a dealership. They just don't know. Half of the rumors they pass around come from people who walked in the door and spread it to them in the first place.

Heck we don't even know what's in store for the 2006 year yet. Why would the dealer know about a 2007?
I heard the 2008 will have a the hydrogen/gas/fusion reactor engine. Right! In my dreams.

[Geek]The books later clarified (smoothed over the error) by stating that the kessel run has ships flying from transport to transport as they are all flying away from a central point. Since they're all flying away from eachother, a shorter distance (< 12 parsecs) means the ship not only was fast, but well navigated[/Geek]
