Hello, I'm new here and I'm into the RX8's and am thinking about getting one. So I have some questions. The 05's and 6's seem to fit my range, so wanted some info on them. I'm going to test a 05 tomorrow, they want 10,900 listed. Has 85km's.

First question- Is there a difference between the Gt and Shinka? is the GT just the normal coupe?

2nd- Any significant problems with either year?

also, I was looking at a 06, 69kms, going for 12,888. Wondering which would be best.

Get the newest, lowest mileage one you can afford.

 

It really depends and it doesn't mean that newer is better. Get a compression test and a carfax report before deciding what to get, good luck.
