Exclamation 2004 and 2009 RX-8 Bumpers and Lights

Hello everyone...

can anyone tell me that is it possible to put 2009 RX-8's front and rear bumpers, tail lights and headlights in 2004 RX-8... without any modifications ?

I mean will it be just to bolt on or do I have to make some modifications in it ?

I think both the tail and headlights are different [larger]. I know at least the headlights are larger.

Bumper I don't know.
But looking at the placement of the side markers with the larger headlights, I'd say it wouldn't be a direct bolt-on for the front.

Has been discussed before. For rear, tailights are different at the bottom. Look at pics. Will require new taillights and new bumper. Expensive...

both front and rear bumpers are different between 04-08 and 09's

so no, not a direct bolt-on

I don't know how easy it would be to "bolt on", but to upgrade to the '09 look you will need the headlights, bumper and front fenders for the front, taillights and rear bumper for the back. Trunk and hood are the same.

I don't care much for the front end of the 2009 Mazda line up. Overly large, cheesy grin with a mustache. Seems almost clown-like.

I agree.

I think the 09's look much better in real life than in pictures but I still think the 04's to 08's look better overall.

I know Mazda had to make a change in looks after so many years but I think it looks too much like the new 3 up front.

I'm a fan of the 09 look. If I could, I'd have mine look like that in a heartbeat.
