2 quick questions... :)
So here are my 2 questions
1) So whats your gas mileage like during winter? does it get really bad? mine came from 18-19 to 15-16. is this normal? or did my coils or something like that die?
2) I was checking the oil tonight and i found this little line just dangiling out there. what is it? i think its the line your a supossed to remove when installing the AEM cai but im sure becuase that was a while ago
Thanks again

If you are warming your car, during that time you are burning gas without adding miles=> less gas mileage

Also, your engine has to work a little harder in the cold. But, if you feel it's an issue, upgrade your plug/coils if you haven't already. Starting in the cold is where it hurts...
Not to mention, you are probably spinning your tires more often. All these things add up

How many miles are on your igntion coils and spark plugs? In the cold weather are you letting the car warm up/idle longer than normal because at idle you get 0 mpg. Does that plugged tube route back to here?
Attachment 165939
If so it is fine or you can remove the tube and cap it like in the photo.

And i let the car iddle for about 3 or 4 minutes everytime i turn it on
Thanks a lot guys

Since you changed your spark plugs recently do not worry about them and just change the coils and wires as soon as you got some $.

Here's my fuel chart for two years

You can remove the line and cap the vacuum nipple at the UIM. It was for VFAD

I don't know if you get winter gas where you are but here in NJ winter blend and summer blend for all gas stations apply.
winter gas always gets less mpg here. There are few articles about it, search it up.

The mean follows seasonal variation... the graph covers two years.
I never saw any significant step function which could be correlated to the winter gas switch in or out.
Mileage follows a predictable variation with season and driving style.
The outliers are from road trips, where the consumption is lower, to track days where average the consumption is crazy high... or snow storms/traffic.

Wow that graph helps a lot. It clearly shows how the gas mileage varies with seasons, and here where i live we dont get any winter gas same gas all year
