Hi guys, I am new to this forum and to mazda, lol. What do you guys think my chances are for trading my 1995 supra NA-T 5-speed for and a full option, highest model rx-8, 6-speed that is paid off?

you're better off selling it privately. doesn't matter if you have turbo or not, the stealership is not going to give you the money that the car is worth.

How do you have a Naturally Aspirated car with a Turbo? Anywho...straight up I would keep the Supra. They are both really nice cars but if it is a stock 8 then there is no contest.

Haha, I put a turbo kit on the car. It's fun to drive, makes 400+ hp but should be at 500 by the end of this month. Very reliable and fast but I want to go a different route now. I want to leave the turbo scene for awhile. You think any rx-8 owner would be interested?

why on earth would you want to leave the turbo scene and then get a NA supra? that seems like such a waste.

 

unless it has a blown motor, i'd keep the supra. you are really going to miss the power.

Sell private. Dealers do not care about your Supra no matter how fast it is. It will end up in an auction and bought by a no-name shop for a dime.
Craigslist is your best bet. Or post at some Fast n Furious type forums. This car like the FD is only appreciated by a certain crowd who will pay good money for it.
