Hey guys, need to ask you something..........is the renesis tag 13B?
if not, I think mazda put in an rx-7 engine in my rx-8........
if yes, consider this a misfire

The Renesis engine is the newest generation 13B. I assume you've seen the 13B markings when looking under the hood?

Yep, the Renesis says 13B on it. You've got the correct engine.

oh, thanks......I was about to go crazy on the damn dealer, puente hills mazda isn't very honest

Go crazy on them? Why? If they sold me a RX8 with a 3 rotor 13b, I'd be going there and thanking them!
