Looks like a great car. Really nice color.
Glad you're here! |
Congratulations! Though I’m not surprised. Sadly, we rarely hear about the high mileage RX-8s. Then again, we don’t hear much about planes that don’t crash either. :beer05: |

My 2004 (manufactured 9/2003) 6 speed passed 200000 miles on Thursday April 5. Original engine and transmission. I am the original and can proudly say that I drove every one of those miles. all of the miles were driven in New England. I used it regularly to commute to and from downtown Boston during rush hour traffic. I have never been to a track with it. Your post belongs into this thread :) |

Proof of 200K At 12 years old (single owner) and with the expense of a third rebuilt engine soon, I need to start thinking about buying a new car. The trouble is there's nothing out there nowadays that says "buy me!" like the RX-8 did back in '04. She is survived by a 2013 Audi A6 supercharged 3.0 v6 Quattro, which hasn’t been named yet, but gets much better mileage. |
