I would love to sell parts off it.

But I most likely will release the car to the insurer and then it will go to auction.

And that will preclude swiping larger parts -- some of the little pieces have already been spoken for / taken as souvenirs by my pals at the dealership and body shop. I wish now I had saved the headlights from the accident - they could have been repaired but it just got two new ones to the tune of 900 apiece

again -- what a pity

Just got a call with a settlement offer - Too low as To be named later said it would be.

Kind Regards
Sting

Damn, maybe I should really start going to one of those auction, I dont really care about flood damage, the parts that I want doesnt matter if it has been covered in water or not. meh. oh well

Tell them to get u another car, screw the offer.

After re-reading my question, it could have been read as the wrong way and I'm taking by your reaction you've heard it enough. My apologies.

As for the settlement, I was afraid they were going to lowball you on the offer. With thousands of claims rolling in from that area, they are now looking after their best interest rather than looking after you.

A big thank-you to all that helped and the well wishes of others!

Special thanks to "To be named later"

I have received a second offer that is far more acceptable and will release the car today. So I am now in the hunt for a clean R2 version - this time it needs to be a yellow car. Or I need to sell the winter rims, nuts and Blizzacks (only 2500 miles new from Connor at Tire Rack last fall)

I kept the second credit card key for the souvenir of a great car!

sniffle!

Kind Regards
Sting
