Lightbulb $250 increase on RX-8

My dealer said there has been a price increase of $250.00.
Good for anyone who pre ordered but you will be dishing out $250 more if you order now.

i suggest you go and ask another sales rep or better yet try another dealer...if they say the same thing then our predictions hold true and Mazda will slowly but surely raise prices on the RX and the winners here are the loyal enthusiasts that preordered early

The price increase hasn't rolled through to the Build & Order portion of the web site yet...

The one I want - Manual GT with cargo net and spare tire kit is still $31,535.

Although the dealer I put in an order and $500 (refundable) deposit also said something about a price increase.

The US dollar is on a very slippery slope and sliding fast, makes sense about the price increase. Heck maybe with the strong CDN dollar we will get a decrease? NAH!

No, relative to other foreign currencies (including the yen) we're just holding steady. It's only the US$ that is dropping worldwide right now.

I hope they are not increasing the price any time soon, as I am going to order my car this weekend.

My dealer did not know about any price increase. It seems a bit too soon for one - the cars are not even out yet.
