Join the Brotherhood of the Dragon!
Shortly this forum will be populated with all the other Brotherhood of the Dragon Threads that are currently scattered around the forum. The admins on the forum were kind enough to provide us with our own little space here, so lets try and keep the new threads in here.
Anyway, in case you don't already know, the Brotherhood of the Dragon is an annual RX-8 (and friends) trip to Deal's Gap, NC. Now 5 days in length, the trip offers you an oppurtnity to enjoy the country of Western NC/Eastern TN. Activities like horseback riding, whitewater rafting, trips to the casino at Cherokee, and oh yeah, a little road up there with a couple (318) turns :D
If you don't know about the dragon visit http://www.tailofthedragon.com
Over the past two years, the attendees have ranged from the wildest curve carvers to mild enthusiasts that just want to see what they and their cars can do out there. It's not a race, and although it is a public highway, it still affords plently of fun with little risk of harm to you or your vehicle.
If you've been already in the past and have ideas for next year please, let us know!! We'll be staying at Fontana village next year as well, but this time we are insisting that everyone be placed in cabins that are within a very short walking distance (we were kind of spread out last year, but it worked out ok since we had a big open area for everyone to hang out at).
More details coming in the near future. For now, stay tuned for our raffle threads!

Sweet our own forum....although kind of worries me that people won't check this forum very often, especially for the raffles. This will definitely help keep all the threads oraganized. I guess we need to post ***** about the raffles to get people in here!!

Considering Christina COUNTS the votes for us, I would be careful who you call out, we can most definitely arrange for another winner in best in show.
And I distinctly remember this being your FIRST AND ONLY win...........
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

ive been to the gap several times with my miata, and with miata groups. I went last year with my girlfriend for a vacation, in her rsxS. I didnt make it with the RX8 group this year cause I can only do about 1 long road trip a year, and I had just gone to Indy for that horrible F1 race.
I plan to go next year for the '06 dragon event with the RX8, and leave with the group from orlando.
Such a beautyful place, I love the smokey mount park and just driving around and taking in all the fresh air and the great star gazing at night.
Looking forward to it!

I hate to bump an old thread with you(Rather than making a new topic right now), but I'm curious too. I've checked the website and it still only has last year's meet.
