Chrome Bulb Set Turn Signals (does not fit??)

I have a 2007 RX-8, ordered the Chrome Bulb Set Turn Signals ($24.99) from rx8strakes.com. The box is marked as T20, but it does not seem to fit into the turn signal housing. The bulb seems to be a small bit longer, where as the original bulb has a notch at the end. The original bulb clicks in and out no problems. The Chrome bulb does not click into the connector, it almost fits, but not quite, any kind of movement causes the bulb to fall out of the connector.

Did they send me the wrong one or is there some trick to getting it to fit?

Thanks

I don't have the chrome signal bulbs, but I did have the same problem with my driving light bulbs. Did you try to signal with them on? Or in other words, do they work? I had to tape minds to the connector, hope that helps.

yeah they do work when you use the signals but they fall right out of the connector. are they the wrong type or is the rx8 connector weird? they are extremely loose I dunno about how much tape it would take i assume you used electrical tape?

I ordered the chrome bulbs from them as well. Mine were the same size when compared to the OEM bulbs, but they were a royal pain in the rear to get them to seat in properly. I don't remember anything about a notch though. If you have the right bulbs you really have to push hard to get them to "click" in. I think it might have something to do with the chrome coating making the bulb a tiny bit larger. It is basically a layer of paint over a stock bulb, (for lack of a better explaination).

Bought my chrome bulbs from ebay and they fit perfectly. Had them for over 2 years without any problems.
