here is the main question that i have already answered for myself, is the money worth it? plus no matter what 20b i get, i would spend a lot of money cause i would port it, and new seals as it is. any engine u import u would want to rebuild anyways.

It would be fun to see this dude actually purchase an engine, tear it down only to never post again.

 

Ill keep it simple. If you dont need to make over 600hp dont do a 20B. Trust me on this one I have been down this road.

If this task was as simple as you are making it then there would be more swapped rx8s. It is expensive plain and simple.

All the prices of the motors you are taking about are jdm blocks which are basically junk yard engines and need to be torn down and rebuilt. Sure you can get lucky, but its a crap shoot.

What often doesn't get mentioned in the auto to manual swap threads is that most autos have lesser support systems than the manual car; smaller brakes, no LSD (needs LSD axles too), etc.

You can't afford the right thing so you start with something that costs much more in the long run. That makes sense, yeah ...
