I'm looking at buying a 05 RX8 and was hoping to get one right before the 06 comes out. Idea being they will want to negotiate a little more on the price. any idea when they come out? The dealer was offering 4k off on saturday (1 day only sale) but i'm hoping to get the same 4k off when i get ready to buy, which may be this week.

Is your dealer offering you 4K off on one particular car or all the cars on their lot? Aim for invoice - holdback. I think MAC is doing a $1000 cash back too.

 

I'm thinking about trading in my 03' 6i, and thinking the time is soon to get an 05 since the 06's are comming out soon.

 

i actually have the invoice paperwork in front of me. invoice is 24,844 on the car and 1118 on the sport package. retail is 26875 and 1300 respectively. Employee pricing is $26,528. They are offering me 25,775 plus the $1,000 MAC rebate, and 2000 for my trade. so i'ld be at $22,775. What do you think. I want to get them to throw in the paint protection package and/or window tinting for free.

 

I talked with the local Mazda dealer's owner last week and he said the 06 is coming out late September/Early Oct.
