What is the best way to sell a modified car?

As a lot of you know, I'm selling my supercharged RX-8. https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8s-sale-wanted-43/2005-pettit-supercharged-rx-8-grand-touring-220481/ I know that since the car is modified, I'm limited in the options I have in selling it. I will not part it out, as I don't have the OEM parts to put back on it and I don't "need" to sell it. But, what are the best options as far as advertising a modified vehicle?

the problem with a modified car is that, unless you're really lucky that someone is looking for an exact same model with exact same mods .... otherwise, mods means "ZERO" value to the potential buyer.

You are going to have a hard time selling it ... only thing u can do is wait ... a long time

It's tough, I had an immaculate 12 second Civic with over 25k invested in it and it took almost two years to sell and I still only got $11,000.00 for it and this was years back before I bought my 8 when the Honda scene was in it's prime.

But if you have time like I did then that is a great thing, you never know with all these military guys coming back with a boat load of cash to spend who will see your ride and ****** it up.

It's a combination of the economy, and it's a semi-high maintenance car. Anyway, it might take you a while to sell it, but if you go way low on the price your about to ask for, then you may have a chance to sell it or you might get lucky on a buyer that is looking for an rx8 with modifications you have. One way or the other, you really need only one buyer for your car anyway. Good luck on selling it.
