Picked up my new 2006 Sunlight Silver GT last night- optioned just the way I wanted it. No nav, spoilers or apperance kits. Would have preferred Galaxy Grey, but nothing left over that fit the bill.
A few impressions- there is no other car for under 30K that offers the technology, comfort and superb driving dynamics this car does.
All is as it should be- the seats are great, the Bose sound system offers excellent staging, (although some may want a sub) the shifter is notchy and direct, and all of the controls have a quality feel. Radio controls on a steering wheel should be made mandatory by the government. The power and the beam spread on the Xenon lamps are great, and would seemingly make fog lamps redundant.
The ride quality is excellent, and complaints in various magazine tests about "roll"
in the turns seem unjustified (at least with 100 miles on the car.)
Complaints? I would have mounted the seat heater switches elsewhere- my arms inadvertently turn them on since it is a comfortably place to rest it.
Other than that, one really great car to own- looking forward to owning it.

Congrats. ZETAAUTO makes a great arm rest cusion that just goes over the stock. I found them on eBay but they may have a direct, online, store. It retains the leather grain "look" and is about 3/4-1" higher so when you elbow is on it your forearm clears the switeches by a large margin. I just put mine in yesterday! Really SOFT and has a cool looking ROTOR design on top. And should you want to remove it, its not permanent and does not interfere with the operation/opening & closing of the console. Plus, its like $30!
