Dealers have less leeway than you imply. Corporate can't do much about gouging, but they can do a lot about participation. Dealers who don't play ball don't get cars. Period.

 

The dealer's that I have worked with both with the X and S plan were happy to do the deal. There was no BS and the cost was up front. In my area they welcome the plan. My cost is around invoice. I have used the plan this week. I close on my Black 8 on Wed. 12/31. I'll get back to the thread with the details.
