RX8 Insurance Costs

Want to see what some of you guys are paying for insurance. Im 19, never had any wrecks, no traffic violations... My current insurance on my prelude is around $125 a month, so Im currious to see if it will go up or down. Im gonna say down since the RX8 is a a safer car, but it is newer, so I dunno.

if you get a VIN, you can call your existing company and have them give you a quote. This is what I did when I was looking at a new car. Got a VIN from an EVO8, STI, and RX8...all were about the same pricing, but I couldn't afford the insurance on the other vehicles. I'm happy with my RX8. Would have loved to get a turbo as I have never had that, nor AWD.

I went through the internet and found the cheapest rate for the RX8. I have never had an accident, nor a claim, nor a theft, nor even called that damn insurance company to say "Hi, why do I need to pay you again". I figure, I have been paying for insurance for over 14 years now and have never used it once. What a waste.

There are some other threads on here on similar topics, so you can broaden your response by searching those.

I pay about $75 a month with State Farm, but that's for an old guy with a clean record and a slew of discounts.

your paying 125 right now....I would imagine that it would be a bit more. The RX8 is in the same insurance class as the Lexus IS and Audi a4. Here in Cali, my insurance rates went up $32 bucks a month for moving to a different zip code. So there are too many factors here to even consider....
