RX-8 Challenge 192 ps VS MX-5 NC 2.0 160 ps

Hi everybody

I have an NB miata and I intent to sell it. I am thinking the buy of an RX-8 challenge 192ps vs the buy of NC 2.0 . What do you think about that? I know that those two cars belong to a different category and you cannot compare them. However, what I am looking is a drift car or at least making RX-8 or NC a drift car. I love my NB and I am afraid of buying a car like RX-8 will lose all the magic of driving a car like miata. On the other hand, I get more satisfaction in drifting rather than riding with soft top down. So what do you think for a buyer like me, what car should I buy? I know that is very difficult to ask RX-8 fans to tell you to buy a car like NC mx-5 however I believe that most of the people here are not biased toward RX-8 and they tend to see the car more objective.

Thanks

A longer wheelbase will be easier to hold a larger drift angle so my vote goes to the 8.

Pferdestarke which means horse strength. It's a German measure of engine power.

1ps = 0.986... SAE hp

Oh and I think you'll have a hard time drifting the low power Rx8. Is it an auto where you're from?

Yea, unless its the manual, i dont think it would be a good idea to get the 8 for drifting.

It was started in the All Japan Touring Car Championship by Kunimitsu Takahashi, after that it was quickly adopted by street racers in Japan on winding mountain roads. Get ready for lots of posts like this guys, once FnF Tokyo Drift comes out every moron ricer in the country is going to want to be a drifter.

^^^ What he said ^^^
Saw a trailer for this in the theatre last week, and could almost hear everyone in the audience give a collective moan, i.e. thinking "that's just what we need, a bunch of tw@ts in civics sliding sideways through stop lights".
