my wife and i purchased a2004 today,were very pleased with the car we traded in a 1996 z28 wich was a very,very nice car it 52k original miles with a bunch of aftermarket stuff,but after test driving and 8 we fell in love with them,not quite as fast but alot more finesse,so heres the question we looked at the 05's winning blue,the 04 we purchased is winning blue but looks a little darker is it just us or did they lighten the color for 2005

 

I'm not positive, but I think they did lighten it. I was noticing that at one of the dealorships. HOWEVER - I'm color blind

I do know the RX-8 blue is quite different from the Mazda 6 blue, even I can see it (clearly) - maybe you remember that color?

 

havent found out for sure but the 2004 winning blue looks darker than 2005
