Question About Buying

I am ready to buy and was approved for the loan. The check was mailed out to me and will take about 3-5 days for me to get it. The dealers by me are running very low on the cars. And on has one left to the config I want.

So, Since I was approved for the loan. Can I still buy it and take it or do I have to wait for the check? Can the dealer call the bank and ask to verify I was approved and allow me to drive happily off with it or not?

You can always go there first and tell them about the check. They'll do all the paperwork, and wait for the check since they are not the one financing you. Make sure you do get the check though.

You can go get it from the dealer. Have them get you financed. Then they will wait up to 45 days for you to give them the check. If you do not give them the check . . . . . they still have you financed through their bank.

Even better . .. if MAC ( mazda acceptance corp ) has an extra $500 off if you finance through them .. . you can get the extra $500 taken off . . . then use the check to pay in full. hahahahaha I love screwing dealers.

Ok. That sounds good.

I didn't want to have to wait and then it ends up being sold.

even if it gets sold. you have 90 days with that check from your bank.

NEVER!!!!! I REPEAT NEVER be in a hurry to get a car. That is how you lose money. dealers PREY on want, not need. If you want it, and they know it . . . the price will be too high

I always go home and sleep on it.

Then I either get it the next day or wait a week.
