Potential 04 Rx-8
Hey guys I'm currently looking at an 04 RX-8 with almost 55k on the odometer. It's a 6 speed w/ green exterior and two-tone black and tan interior. To be honest I don't care so much for the exterior color and could live with the interior if I had a different exterior. The dealer is asking about 13k for it, but the carfax shows it was in an accident and I can tell it was the front bumper since whoever did the repair didn't do a perfect job, as I can still see some slight damage and the front bumper isn't flush with the headlight. The car was orginally from Monroe, Washington and has a long history of moving around for an 04 IMO since it's made its way down to Cincinnati,OH. I've taken a test drive and it ran perfectly fine as far as I could tell, but I don't have any prior experience with rotary cars. I just want to get some opinions whether or not I should try to work a deal out with this car or just wait it out to find a better one. If I do get this car I would consider repainting the car to black eventually and possibly converting the interior to the red/black two-tone interior. FYI, I was planning on offering the dealer 10k for the car as is. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

10 is ok, but its been in an accident so i dunno. I would recommend waiting for something better, something that will be more what you want (black, two tone int.)
If you were to paint it and change the interior, you might end up spending more than you had planned for.
I'm not too sure about the market in Ohio, but theres probably more available. Just keep your eyes open and shop around.
