Just ordered my 8 today....!!!

Got the VIN# - it just arrived yesterday at the dock in Tacoma, WA and will be shipping to the LD.

Velocity Red MT GT with Red/Black Leather, Navi, Appearance Pkg, Rotary Pkg, 6-Disc, Cassette, Fender Strakes, Moonroof Deflector, Red Lthr Parking Brake Handle, Chrome Air Vent Bezels, Cargo Net. I am getting it for exactly invoice price, $32,769 plus some stupid $189 "processing fee".

Also, I made the dealer promise to make sure that the M flash is installed before I pick it up. ;-P

So you guys are the experts....did I get a good deal?

 

If you verified that you got dealer invoice pricing, then you did good

I'd check, but I'm feeling lazy tonight. I do know that with the major options listed above, invoice is around $31,000, so even if it's not invoice, it's close enough to not matter.

Actually, they have kind of been looking for the last 2 weeks to find one exactly like I was looking for...the Mazda Rep found that this one had just arrived off the ship from Hiroshima in Tacoma yesterday. They sent me the invoice information and it should arrive in Springfield, MO by Memorial Day weekend.

I could be wrong, but "Red Lthr Parking Brake Handle, Chrome Air Vent Bezels" should be standard on a black/red leather GT. Because they're not going to give you a mismatched parking brake, and I've yet to see an RX-8 without the AC bezels.

 

Hmmm....if it is, I didn't know that. Anybody else know about this?

The std park lever is black plastic, even on the GT, (and leather is about a $250 option!) same thing for the vent bezels, the GT has 'silvered plastic', not metal.

i just picked up my blue with spoiler, appearance, 6 cd, 6spd, rotary accents, sport package, 28,800. fyi u have to deal even with s plan.

 

oh and it has alum bezels. all of them a all the dealers did. and for that same price i got chrome wheels.
