I finally decided so I went to the dealership last saturday to buy an 8. :woot:

I got a great deal on a brand new 05 titanium gray, 6 speed , touring, everything except nav. All for 25,300 + TTL. I'm going to the dealership tonight to pick her up and to finalize the sale. I'm so excited! Thanks guys for posting very informative stuff on this board. There is nothing like opinions from first hand owners!

Are there special things I need to do to the car? Do I need to put clear bras on certain parts of the car? Any "dont-do-<this>-or-youll-regret-it-later" kind of advice? TIA!

I have Clear Bra on my entire front end, wish I did it the week I got the car. I drive on the Parkway alot and rocks are a killer. If you do alot of Hwy miles on the the major NJ roads paint protection of some kind is a must.

Thanks! One question though, how does it affect the appearance? How noticeable is it from a scale of 1-5? I take 287 to work everyday and that is far more worst that the parkway since it's a truck route.

You will see the seams if your washing the car or standing right next to it. Once your a few feet way you do not notice it. Still better than rock chips. I do have a gouge in one section do to flying branch off a tree service truck. If the Clear Bra wasn't there it would look much worse.

Clear Bras are temporary. You can take them off anytime. From what Ive read it's not repairable.
