New 8 wannabe

I'm yet another newbie wanting to get an rx8... I'm in South Africa and looking for a good deal: any suggestions as to which model (2004-2007) is a good buy? Looking for decent pre-owned, but but not sure what differences there are between the models. (2004/5 are plentyfull here- yet I'm looking for a 6 spd manual trans as most I've seen have only a 5 spd manual trans).

Please help me to become a happy rx8 owner! (and reading post and comments on this site has certainly "wised" me up a lot on the rx8). Thanks!

Look into the '06 and up. Most of the earlier models had some problems...

Also, searching before asking is usually the best way to get info here (unless you want to "waken the dragon")

Good Luck
