My lease deal

I might be making a deal tomorrow for an '06 touring with spoiler. Question i have is that i'm putting 2g's down plus 2g's for my trade....this is going to give me $350/24 months. am i crazy to put that much equity in a lease? or is this about right for a touring model with spoiler?

I dont think that's too bad. That's roughly what I'm paying on my lease and about what I put down. What's the buy out value at lease end? I got a good deal on my buy out value, so I stand to make some money if I buy the car and then turn around and sell it, granted the resale values don't drop majorly.

3 year lease w/ 15k miles/ year

My end of lease buy out is right at 13K. Right now I'm well under my mileage, so I think I'm definitely gonna buy it when the time comes and then maybe turn around and sell it a few months later so I can get a newer model

It depends...Do you plan on buying the car after lease end? Trade it in for a newer model? You definitely want to make sure you account for you annual mileage...that's where the stick it to you at lease end. If you keep the miles down (24K/24months) I think that would be fine. That buyout price is about what the 04's are going for equipped comparably. It's totally up to you though. The dealers will always make their money no matter what way you go. The most important thing to protect yourself is to make sure you've allotted yourself enough mileage b/c that's actually what you're paying for in a lease, the mileage not the car.

i'm perfect with the miles...i usually only really drive on the weekend...during the week i ride with someone. i will have to drive it daily though so i won't get the whole flooding issue going on. but i feel comfortable now knowing i'm not getting totally screwed, but maybe just a little instead. i wasn't originally going to buy the car but after thinking about it i might....after 2 years i should be making triple what i do right now which would allow it....unless ofcourse the rxspeed is insanely hot. heh.

but thanks for the input i appriciate it.

one more question does the bose system have inputs on it? cause i have an xm radio inno and want to use it in the car.

^^ Agreed, I would just look into buying a new 05. You'll save a lot of money and won't have to deal with retarded lease contracts.

well i took the plunge...in my deal if i keep the car i only will loose about a grand....so its not to bad at all. but i don't plan on keeping it because of the rx8-speed that may come out in 2 years....i dunno if i heard that correctly or not but regaurdless the rx8 is one sweet car thanks for the input.
