Making the choice

Hi all. I am new to the forum, and trying to follow the rules of thread-i-quette I looked over to if this had been covered, and did not find anything consolidated to address my question, so here goes.

I am curious what led others to decide on the RX-8?

I am in the market and after a visit to the dealer and giving the RX-8 a good lookover, I think it has beat out the 350Z as my choice for a new car. For me, it seems to be the great compromise between driving fun, as well as functionality (with room for additional passengers/cargo over the Z).

Since I am not much of a gear head...I am hoping to hear some technical feedback on what led others to the choice to purchase the 8?

Thanks

First, welcome to the forum. Second, please enter location and other information into your profile.

You can check out 'the little things' ; Not technical but a good read.

The things that convinced me; It's one of a kind in the market in terms of looks, performance and functionality, the test drive was a huge factor and the rotary engine sold me. I used to ride motorcycles and this engine gives a lot of the same joy to those who love the redline...
