Looking to purchase an 07, curiuos on the price...

I'm just curious if this is a decent deal for an '07. I don't know if I should try to haggle on down much or what not, since I've never dealt with the dealership before...but what are your opinions?

That's what I paid for my 2007 in December, but it was new with 74 miles. Of course at that time, Mazda was offering a $3500 rebate off of invoice.

Well, apparently they got the mileage wrong on the website, and it's really under 500 *I can't remember the exact number...100-200ish*.

So I figured that's rather good, since the rest I've seen were more than that. But then again, I'm not a pro at this type of thing. I was going to do a very clean sweep of the car and make sure I don't miss a thing. Plus, on the picture of the wheel itself, I noticed what looked like scaring on the rotor. Am I wrong in thinking that's what it is? Or is that just a reflection/how it should look?

*EDIT* Plus, I was looking at it, and since it has the cloth seats, it's just a "Sport" model, correct? I didn't see a depiction on the site about what version it is.

*EDIT2* Wow, I can't even spell curious right. *clap clap clap*

IF it is a new, never been tityled, non-reported, about to be fresh sale with Mazda NA, then it is is fair deal. If the car has been titled, or if the warranty has befun ticking in any way, it is roughly $3k too much.

Well, the car had 8k on the clock, so I'd say it's been titled before. Now, I went to get it, test drove it, loved it to death, but alas, my credit isn't good enough to be financed without a co-signer. I'm hoping to find one somehow, because it's not like I can't afford the car....I just LOVED the way it felt driving that car.

Haven't gotten it yet, but it's still sitting at 21k. Any things I can use to lower the price? Since I'm new to the dealers, I'm also new to haggling prices down. Any help would be grand.

25k out-the-door is what im willing to pay for a *2009* model if i could get it right now.

so you might just have to hold it off.. just so you have an idea, the lowest quote i received for a 2008 is 21,995.

which trim is that quote you got for? sport i'm guessing?

anyone know when the 2009 will be available, there has been confirmed reports with a couple test vehicles on the road here and there.

I'm assuming Sport. It doesn't say, I'll have to get an exact, but from the options that get selected on the KBB, I'd say Sport it is.
