Leasing RX8

Just wanted to let everyone know that I helped "Eccles" get his leased with the best money factors in the Country! He will be picking his up tonight ! If any of you are thinking of leasing they are the best right now....just thought it may help some of you.

I know a company with a .00190 money factor!!!! Close to HALF as cheap as Mazdas Rate. Shoot me an e-mail if you want the info.

Do you know what Mazda's rates are? If so, what are they?

.00190 is about 4.56%, are you telling me that Mazda's money factor is 9% !!!!

I find that hard to believe. Anyhow, I would still like to hear what info you have. I'll send you an e-mail.

IIRC, Mazda's money factor was .00325. Jas did say about half.

Sorry Matt...Should have been more specific. Yes, Mazda has a very high rate even for great credit.

Mazda has .00325 money factor for 24 and 36 months
Also .00340 for 48 months.

So as you can see by the math, .00190 is pretty good. I am waiting on a bank that should have a .00144 money factor soon, but I am unsure of how long they will wait to release it AFTER the car has hit the ground. Could be 1 couple of weeks or could be days!?!

Thumbs up

I agree! Not sure what they are thinking! They will prob. lower it in Sept after 2nd allocation arrives. Shoot me an e-mail with a phone # and I'll help get you hooked up with the Bank.

First 18 cars are here as of 5 minutes ago, and getting cleaned up for delivery! We should be riding tonight! Anybody jealous?

Where is here? I called Mike over at Mazda south and he said they aren't there yet...

Let alone 18 cars....

Yeah don't be posting B.S. if you can't back it. Especially with someone with that low of a post count.

Back it up? You don't even know who your talking to and you say back it up? I got news for you buddy. I knew where those cars were BEFORE any of your local Austin dealers did. Those cars were there being cleaned up and ready to go per Roger Beasley before anyone was allowed to tell the customers they were here. This is a big EVENT to him...not just a new car line. He wanted it done right. You may want to check credintials before you mouth off stuff like that.

Thanks for the great response from this board guys. I have helped about 20 guys so far and have another 15 or so to contact. I didn't expect such a response to help y'all with leasing. This money factor is kicking everyone elses butt! Let me know if any more of y'all have questions.

Residual on 36/39 month is important... money factor aside, if the residual is too low then the car becomes very expensive to buy. Being that it's in its first week out, it should be high.

Also, like I mentioned via PM (and you haven't replied yet!), this is my first car. My credit score is great (700+) but I have no auto credit. I want to co-sign with my father, if this is possible.

I'm in NJ, if that helps. If you can contact me via PM or email.. I'd appreciate it.

Talking

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. So WHO hadn't replied? :D I just re-sent it.

With a credit score over 700 you may not need your dad. Just depends on the depth of your history and what your high limit is.

Credentials, well let's see them.... I'd like to be proven wrong...

Your right I don't know who I'm talking too, as far as I'm concerned your just a Business Troll...

Send me a PM if you'd like so you won't have to have your Identity revealed...

But so far I haven't heard anything about these 18 cars that are being PDI. Have you actually seen them???

I am driving one of them. (Blk/BlkandRed with Grand touring Pkg) South store only got 3 in yesterday but expects several more today. Bastrop got 5, RB North got 8, and Premier got 2. All are expecting more today. Some won't be represented as "In stock" yet as they are in the shop having aftermarket accessorries added that couldn't be installed at port such as MP3 players etc...

No need to PM. I have no problem letting anyone know who I am. I am a former Mazda Sales Manager and General Manager for several years. I still keep in touch with several of the "Higher Ups" if you will, With Mazda. The CFO as well as the Southern half of the US Region Rep are both personal friends of mine. They can track all these RX8 when they leave the factory. Helps to get the inside scoop with them rather than the dealer direct. Mazda places their allocation shipments stratigic. The top dealers obviously want them first so they can brag.

To answer my own question, this site gives the following for credit rating > 730 (no, I haven't checked mine yet):

http://www.leasecompare.com/

money factor: 0.00192
residual value 36 mos: 55%
residual value 48 mos: 49%

Seems to be a good deal - what do you look out for when selecting a lease company - any watch-its??
