lease rates/ residuals
lease rates/ residuals
Hi,
Has anyone recently leased an Rx-8? I am interested in knowing what type of residuals and money factors are available. I am looking at getting an rx-8 w/ grand touring and navi system via the s-plan (assume negotiating better is quite difficult) and want to get an idea of what the payments should be.
Thanks.

Just an FYI
Rates change daily. Rates change according to region. Rates change depending on credit history
Dont lease if you want want to own the car. Lease if you plan to return the car for a trade, however you will pay for the premium. You always lose out on a lease, no matter how good of a deal you get
Finance is good depending on the rate you get.
I also recommend that if you want to f inance, try online websites like peoplefirst.com or eloan.com, the rates you get from them are by far much cheaper than what dealerships can get ya ..
and becasue you are financing outside, you can go to a dealership, and tell them straight up your paying CASH, and they'll prob give you a better upfront deal
Good luck !

Hey RX8Z - your advice is pretty much right on. The only thing I have to contradict is the cheaper rate part. I used Lending Tree.com to price out a loan and Capital One (peoplefirst.com) came out the best at 4.99%. The two dealers I dealt with were able to get me 4.59% from two different banks. I certainly recommend shopping your best Auto Loan before you walk into the dealer. One of the dealers tried charging a "Credit Inquiry Fee" which I was able to say easily I will not pay that since I already have my loan. For references, I have good credit, but I do not own a home.
BTW - I used to live right near the Mazda dealership in Edison.
