Insurance for your RX-8

I am pretty much set on getting a 2004 RX-8 however, I would like to know the prices of all your insurances. I know they will differ, but if you could say how much the insurance costs you and your age and if you've had any infractions that'd be great.

What's the estimate on a 18 year old with no accidents/infractions with AAA?

Also, I have heard different stories, but do the insurance companies see this as a 4 door sedan or a two door sports car? Will the insurance be more or less than what I have to pay now for my 96 Blazer? (I believe it's around $1300)

I got a quote on an '04 RX-8 from Farm Bureau for $596 for 6 months. My jaw about hit the floor 'cause I've had roughly ten tickets in my 14 year driving career. I was high risk for awhile but have only had one in the last 3 years.

I live in NJ. I pay $1600 for 12 months... I have full coverage with a $1000 deduct... I'm single, 28 and haven't had an accident or ticket in 10 years.... yay New Jersey.. I'd be paying under $500 if I still lived in North Carolina...
