Your age, vehicle, location, gender, primary driver's driving record, secondary...etc, number of cars under the policy, your school grades, and obviously insurance company's rate, are what determines how much you would pay.

Haha, so you're old enough to go to war but not old enough to drink until 21. Yes, welcome to the real world.

Maybe you're in college. If so, you might want to take a class on actuarial science. They're (insurance companies) punishing not for who you are as an individual, rather they are assessing you (age group), collectively as a whole, in a demographic which is a high risk category in your state, zip code driving an "X" car with other factors such as gender, driving experience, hp of the car, etc and etc. In other words, they have all the stats which show that males in your age group, in your area, and the % of the youthful drivers in your group who will cause accidents, the first year, second year, third year, etc and determine how much to charge people within your age group to recoupe the money lost from all those accidents.

However, all things being equal, if you're to move to a rural area, your premium might be less.

You're going to be getting the dry hump insurance rates until you're 25, we all went through it.

Its called "rape". Expect the insurance companies to keep doing it to you until your older than 25. U.S. insurance companies are out of control.

Shop around real hard or have your parents insure it and pay them.

I have one minor accident and I'm 25. Progressive quoted me $266 a month for all coverage.
Geico Quotes me $160 a month for same coverage.
And Geico with Bank of America Discount quotes me $116 a month for that same coverage.

Go Figure.

Try having it put on as a "weekend car" they will usually limit your miles driven in a year, and have your parents the primary drivers. Its not that they check your mileage but if you get into an accident/ticket they might look into it.

350Z, WRX and Evo are worst new imports for insurance in their price range. I think RX-8 is a lot better.

well they checked againand if there put on as a primary driver its about 110 for full coverage...... not bad but now im having other delemas. i need my car gone and im having a hard time selling it. and the stealer ship only wants to give me like 4 to 5 grand under what i owe. wich means the 13grand rx8 is now an 18 grand rx 8..... and idk if i can get financed even with a cosigner for a car that year (04) for that price

It is all about how an insurance company rates risk. Being younger, there is higher risk. Around
30 it should have dropped down considerably.
