of incentives/rebates

i'm going to be buying a 05 rx8 hopefully within the next month, and i had a couple questions...(i searched and didn't find anything all that releveant, but maybe i just searched the wrong terms). anyhow...

1. i got a 2nd undergrad degree last august. question is, are 2nd degrees still eligable for the $500 recent grad offer?

2. is it possible to combine the $500 recent grad offer with the $500 gerber offer? or do i only get to use one?

3. if combining offers is possible, any other offers, other than the incintive for financing through Mazda?

4. finally, good deal, yes or no...
05 m/t sport pack w/ spoiler and spare tire kit for $26.5

TIA for any feedback.

1. I believe so. Read the fine print on the Mazda website though.
2. Yes. I almost bought my sister a 3 and they were combined no problem.
3. I don't think that's a question. :p Ask again
4. Yes, good deal for an 05 especially if you can tack off the extra $1k in above rebates.

thanks for the info.

and as for #3, that should have read, "are there any other offers, besides the cash incentives for financing through mazda?" guess thats what happens when posting before having my morning caffine injection.

You can go to www.carsdirect.com and build the car you want and get a price right there. Even if you don't go through them to get the car, that tells you (in your area) what would be a decent price. When I check a 6mt with spare and wing in my area it comes up $27,027 with a dealer cost of $27,127. So if you can do the deal for $26.5k and get the grad and gerber rebates, you should have a nice deal.

If you could find the same car as an 04, it would be $22-23k. So well worth finding an 04 (I think).

I am about to get an 05 on Sat, but the dealer claims there are no rebates or incentives on the car. I have my $500 gerber in hand anyway.

What I read it was only on a lease 05. Of course, the CarsDirect price comes up right near invoice so either the dealers are willing to sell them close to cost or there is some additional incentives on them.
