I live in southern california and I ordered an RX8 in early May 2004. My original estimate for delivery was about 3 months. While waiting I have been bargain hunting and purchasing all the accessories I wanted, and saving up for a big deposit. I also have just recently put my truck up for sale so I don't have to deal with upside down trade in. Its been 3 months and I gave the dealership a call to get an update. They said there's been a bit of a delay. They have the vin number and are expecting the car by the late August or early September. Does that sound realistic?

 

Get the Vin number from the dealer and i believe with this you can trace it. Do a search under Vin. Did you order something special? I would think that the dealer could find what you want and maybe at Invoice at this stage. IMO
