this is kinda funny! this morning i got a "vin has been assigned email" from mazda. i have previously received the "car has built email" and in fact my car is already at port tacoma. it has a different vin than what i got previously! so i checked the dealer's inventory and both of them now show in their inventory. i think this second one is the one that would have actually been ours had we not thrown up a stink. i made the big stink because thru Rotarynews.com i learned that my car wasn't showing at my dealer a couple weeks ago even though i was the first one to actually place my order with them. the dealership got on the phone with mazda and got them to divert one to me that was headed to dealer training. so this new one has probably just rolled off the production line and is getting loaded on a boat soon. probably won't show up until september or later which is why i was pissed in the first place. so our grumbling has secured an extra car for the dealership. i wonder if we can use this as leverage to get a little price break or something? what do you folks think?
