What do you like?

For starters, it is a wholly more satisfying car as a manual tranny, particularly prior to 06.
Next, if you do get an AT, get the 18" wheels. That will give you LSD, Big brakes, and better suspension.
Next, DSC and Xenon's are nice upgrades for the sport...
Sunroof and Bose highlight the Touring
Heated Leatehr makes for the Grand Touring
If you like how the Shinka looks, it's mostly a GT...

i definitely want it to be a manual
-why is it better prior to 06? i remember reading somewhere online that the rx8's before 06 had a few minor bugs that were all fixed by 06.

i know i want the DSC and Xenon lights, and i know id prefer, but dont care too much about, having the bose system.

and i definitely don't care about leather.

so it seems that i want a Touring model.

what exactly is different if its a GT?

also...whats a good price range for a manual used 04/05 touring/gt model?

the only feature you need is 6speed manual tranny.

If you buy used.. make sure to get a compression test done.

i found a manual 2004 GT with 38,506 miles on it for $15,900. It was traded in and the dealership has had it on its inventory since August 17th 2007. How much do you think its worth and how much do you think is a reasonable amount i could potentially negotiate off the sticker price? also its warranty is up around the end of February which kind of concerns me.
