Thumbs up Great dealer experience

Well last Thursday I decided it was time to buy a new daily driver. I had done much research and was narrowing down my choices from an 04 GTO, 04 R32, 04 RX-8, or an 04 3 series BMW. I knew all these chocies, well maybe not the BMW, had great year end deals on them. I was getting rid of a 96 Accord as my daily driver, and have a 911 Turbo for the "toy/summer fun" car so a hard edged sports car wasn't in the mix. Also living in Chicago threw the VW into the mix with the all wheel drive for winter.
Well in the end I wound up going with a Winning Blue RX-8. I had a really great shopping experience with the dealership called Autobarn in Evanston, right outside Chicago. The salesmans' name is Tony V. He and one of the managers Mike really earned my business and made me feel great about my purchase. I told them about this website and that I would be reporting back to all of you. But I'm not sure I should say how much off they gave me, but it was a nice chunk.
They have about a dozen 04's left so hurry down and see Tony V and get treated right by whats seems like a nice dealership. Tell them Lane sent ya, maybe I can get some free oil changes or something :D
Anyway I am enjoying my ride and wish these guys well.
Oh yeah guess I will stop lurking and start talking more here.

Lane
