FYI, $900 for a windshield
Had rock hit my windshield while on the highway on Friday which left about a 1/2" wide crater. Luckily, missed everything else
They came out to replace it to the tune of $898.81.
Thank goodness insurance is 100%, no deductable in FL.
Are there states that don't offer 100% coverage, no deductable windshield coverage?
Given the softness of the glass to begin with, if your state doesn't make insurance companies provide full coverage, it may be a good idea to consider it, given the replacement cost.

RX8 and a Truk....
We don't get free windshields in WA. It's based of our Comprehensive Insurance.
fwiw, for my wife's Nissan, Novus Auto Glass wanted $700 for the windshield...I called around and found it at Speedy Auto Glass for $230. Those figures are in 'Washington' Dollars.
