Focus, please

Just got my "free" touch up paint from Mazda. That is, after I bought some from the dealer.

Here's the rub. I opened the paint I bought and thought man this doesnt look like velocity red. Put a dab on the car. Well maybe it dries darker I thought. I wiped it off anyway.

So the bottle Mazda sent looks like velocity red. Has the code 87 on the lid. The bottle the dealer sold me has code 7Y but the part no. on the receipt ends in 87. So now I knew the dealer sold me the wrong paint. Its a good thing I wiped it off before drying.

Now I ask you, how f'in hard is it to get this right? Can't even get a Two digit code correct.

From sales to service to parts every aspect of dealerships is seriously flawed.

Not all of them... some dealerships are excellent. Sadly, they are not all as good as they could be.
