Well, like many who have cruised the boards here for months before purchasing the RX-8, I finally took the plunge and have just worked out my purchase. Base MT in Titanium Gray (looks good to me, and lots in inventory around here). Pick it up tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at Culver City Mazda (purchase made through CarsDirect.) High VIN, so the build date should be recent. Don't know the milage, but I'm assuming it's not too high. Now all that I have to do is figure out how to pay for it! Actually, it's a good incentive to quit smoking once and for all--that's most of the monthly payment right there. And my bar tabs should go down since I don't want to hurt the car (let alone myself or someone else).
