Carmax is offering $20k for my 2007 GT Auto/appearance package. Is not as much as I would like but looking at pricing on used rx8 models sort of makes me wonder if this is not the best I might be able to get with gas prices as they are. And yes, I already know it's an Auto and most rx buyers want a manual.

That's a TON for such little hassle of signing the titel and dropping the keys off...

 

Depending on your area, you may be able to get another few thousand dollars if you sell it private party. (as long as miles are VERY low)

But to save the hassle of selling your car, it may be easier to let carmax have it.

 

Yes, it seems like that might be the going rate thus a $7,000 dollar hit then again it is a car so you lose most times...unless it was a prius.

Ride safe, will miss it if I sell her but then again already have a highlander hybrid plus just picked up a burgman 650 scooter (50 mpg) and fun to drive though too is the rx8. Have til this Saturday to decide (carmax 7 day offer don't you know)
