Cost of an 05

what would you expect teh cost of an rx-8 gt manual in about 3 months? Seeing as they would be wanting to get rid of it for the 06 models, 3 months from now should give them plenty of time to drop the price. any ideas??
Also, whats the average rate that Mazda finances for new cars bought off the lot?

with a lot of cars (from what ive seen) when you have '05s and '06s on the lot, you can get the '05s for invoice or below...they want to move them out, esp if they have been on the lot.

Everyday a car is on the lot, the dealer loses money, they want the inventory to move. They HAVE to discount the price signifigantly to sell cars when the New model year of the same car is on the lot, otherwise if the price was the same, or close, everyone would just skip over the 05 and get an 06....so they have to make the 05 attractive to buyers.

Buying a car at the end of the model year, or just into the next year will get you the most savings.

So buy an 05 close to the end of the year, or in the first few months of next year...but dont wait to long or they could all be sold.

also if you live in a place where it snows over winter....prices on convertables and 'sports' cars will drop once there is snow on the ground, as car sales will slow down and be more trucks/suvs in the winter.

Try for invoice on September 30th or October 31st. End of the month and end of the year. Got offers of $800-1000 below invoice last year on an '04---just couldn't get the right color/options combination with few miles so never bought.
