Buy now or wait two more months?

The lease on my BMW 325i is coming do April 16.

I have started slowly shopping for my next car and I am really taken with the RX8.

I found a dealer who is willing to go 6,600 off MSRP and maybe a little more.

I can carry the two cars for the two months no problem but I am wondering if I should wait. I'm just afraid the 2005s will be gone and the deals with them. Right now I can get all the options and color I want but who knows in 2 months. My most local Mazda sold out of 2005s in Dec but there are another 15-20 cars within 50 or so miles.

Also I would imagine they will become more popular once spring rolls around here in New England.

Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks!

People seem to be getting good deals year round so you can wait if you want.

Totally depends on what you want/need. Personally, I would wait.

Even if those 15-20 in your area run out there are hundreds of cars a short day trip way I bet (would help you break it in). So save a little money for some goodies for your new car and buy in two months.

Got tired of waiting for the 2006 and bought a new 2005 RX-8 Shinka a couple of weeks ago for $28K.

LOVE IT!! No regrets.

That's a pretty good deal. I doubt that you will get a significantly better deal by waiting for the '06s to hit the streets in the next month or so. You may get a few hundred more off the price by holding out, but not a whole lot more. Ask for $7k off and they will take it.

Of course, that's my opinion.
