I am about 5min from purchasing a black 04, however its been on the lot for quite a while from my understanding. I just need to know which build dates to stay away from!? Thanx!

 

None, just get the service bulletins and go from there. I'd be more worried about the mileage and how the dealership treated the car.

build date was june 03 theres 13 miles on it, its a touring w/ appearance package & accents. the price is 24 flat before tax, tag, title.

 

6/2003 and only 13 miles?? In all that time not even a few test drives? You should check and see if this car was damaged during shipping and sat at a body shop all this time.

 

That car is 15 months old. They better discount the **** out of it for you to buy it!

Mine was a Sept 03 build and had a fair amount of "lot rot" ...

if the rotors aren't too rusty-they have to have some on them- I'd jump on it! If they are, ask if them to assure you they'll resolve any problems w/ them under warranty (shouldn't need to ask but it's good to have the assurance).
