basic questions

hi, this is my first post here. I spent 20-30 min looking around on this forum, had some questions about rx-8's, kind of thinking of getting one. I know the rx-7 had all kinds of problems with the rotary engines, any common or similar problems on these new engines??
Also, are there different models (like bigger engine, sports package, turbo....)??
Any big differences in the years, like 04 to 05?

These things look fun as hell to drive, i'm sure they're pretty versatile as far as souping up...I've been thinking of going with something cheaper, but I really want that rear wheel drive and small body, and this is the only ride w/ more than 2 seats that doesn't go for much more than 20, used.

All your questions can be found asked and answered by using search but here it goes again nice and simple.

1, No, the RX-8 don't have the dual turbo's like the last RX-7 did. The turbo's were the issue on that car.
2, Look Here LINK
3, No Yellow in 05. No White in 04
4, No they are no big gains in terms of aftermarket mods unless you take the risky turbo route.

the only way is to go test drive one and see how u like it... it is not an explosively fast car. but, the fun factor is still more than enough to compensate for that for most of us.
