I've tried autotrader, but in the 10 or so dealerships I tried, it is 90% inaccurate...

I found one new 05 in Ohio but no others. Any new 05's at a dealership that is willing to deal? Thanks!

I found four in Atlanta this weekend, and that was at only 2 dealerships, so I imagine there are more. Only three left, though, as I bought one.

Since Mazda's site doesn't appear to conduct a search properly (you put in "150 mile radius" and it seems like you get maybe 35), you should try changing the zipcode to other towns that you know are 50 or 100 or 200 miles from you.

Go on the USPS's site and do a zipcode search- you put in the name of the city and state and it spits out the corresponding 5 digit #. Now go back to Mazda's site and plug them in in separate inventory searches. You should come up with a ton more cars that way!

They have 2 05s out in a dealership out here in Cali. I am waiting for the Fleet Manager to get back to me with an idea of how much they are willing to part for a GT RX-8 05. If it is too much then i am going to have to say screw it and just go with an 06

Yeah the one i am looking to get is fully loaded but i think they are going to try and screw me over. I dont know yet.

I've tried the mazda usa site and it only gives me 2006 cars. Any other ideas?

Menlo Mazda has a new blue on that they've been trying to sell for awhile now. they have it listed at $33,854. Last week they had a special on it for $6,500 off when financed through Mazda.

hey guys,

couldn't get a great (although good easily possible) deal on any new 05's... the best deal available was in mentor, ohio on a loaded 05... 8-9k off w/ minimal haggling, but i wasn't looking for a GT

anyway, i'm now the proud owner of a slightly used TG '05. thx for all the input!!
