Any 05's on the lot with NAV left?
Any 05's on the lot with NAV left?
I'm looking for a Silver or Red Rx-8 with Red and Black Interior, Manual and Navigation. It's tough to get all those options used, any chance there is still an 05 on the lot with those options???
I am in Chicago, but would drive a little distance if I found the car I want.
Thanks much,
Shane

I would go to www.mazdausa.com and do an inventory search. You'll have your answer in a matter of minutes
Funny thing is when you use Mazda's search and input, let's say "150 miles", it doesn't actually show the results for anywhere near that radius.
Chicago and southern Wisconsin are easily within that range, yet I don't get any of the dealerships up north. You have to know that area's zip code and then use that. Guess they want you to support the locals only.

I tried mazdausa.com and didnt find anything with nav. Only new 05's just not with the options I was looking for.
I'll pry have to find used, its just tough with all the options I want.
Two toned interior, manual and nav.

FWIW, I really, really wanted nav, too. Then I found an '05 Shinka with just 6 miles on it and had to have it. I rationalized that I could get a very nice aftermarket nav (Magellan 760 or Garmin 2620 or a TomTom) for $1000 or under—over $1000 less than the factory nav. The factory nav is great but, hell, with the aftermarket units I hear it's way easier—and cheaper—to update the maps. Plus you can grab the unit and use it in rental cars on vacations and business trips. I'm not sure, but I think you can also "program" your trip in the convenience of your home and then just simply stick the thing on your dashboard. The factory nav you'd have to program in the car, I imagine.

I agree. My phone (HP hw6515) is now NAV equipped with the same NavTEQ maps and it was just a $130 software cost. Now I can use it in any car.
I wouldn't have gotten the RX8 NAV last year had I known this would be an option later.
