Almost bought an 04 on Saturday.

It was the graphite colored one. Tan/black leather int. NAVIGATION. 13K miles. No appearance packages...

I just really want a silver. The tan leather wasn't too great-looking. It was 26,500. Good deal? Are the NAVIs rare? I may end up getting it, but would only offer $24K.

What is y'all's opinion?

I got my '04 for $27k, fully loaded with 60 miles on it.

$26.5k for 13k miles...way overpriced I think.

http://www.kbb.com

Grand Touring pkg, I presume.

$27755 Retail according to Kelley Blue Book. So $26,500 is a good STARTING point. Go lower. If this is a demo vs. one owner, beware.

KBB is off on the 8s since those rebates were offered. They were selling them lower then trade in value on new 04s after the 5k in savings. Maybe since he didnt buy in march he might have to pay more, but sure never checked after i brought my car. or wait till they give rebates on the 05 models

If it has Nav, and you want that you might have to pay more since i couldnt find any 04s when i brought mine with nav, GT for under 28k but that was new in march. They didnt make too many of those.

Probably a bit high, but it depends -- what options do you really want?

I think that's steep...

In Feb, I bought my 2004 with GT package and Nav for $25,000 - and it only had 6K on it. Except for a few scrapes on the rims, it looked like showroom

for that mileage, that car is terribly overpriced. Negotiate down from there and get it in the 21k range.

Seems high. Maybe shoot for 23K. Check around for new '04s. I agree with VelociRedBeast in that people have reported getting these in the $26K range for the GT.

Niro, have you seen my post about buying an '04? Where did you buy from? I can't get the dealer here in Baltimore to sell me a fully-loaded '04 (including NAV)with 140 miles for less than $29,300. And I actually offered them the same price you paid for yours...

Yeah, I hope so. But the guy just seemed really disinterested and could care less that I was walking away. We'll see though. I've started looking at other dealers online in MD and DC.

There's a dealer in Ballston, VA with a bunch of 04's they're eager to sell, I offered 20k and overbook for my trade-in. Obviously they didn't go for it, but they thought about it.

Could you please get me the name of that dealer? Is that Arlington Mazda? They seem to have 2 '04s in stock right now.

Thanks, I really appreciate it!
