only better suggestion is to build a time machine, go back to 2005, and buy the 2004 car when it only had 17k miles on it.

wait....why do you want to trade for a car that has more miles?

shop around and get a MT with lower miles

I wouldn't do it.
I know you're probably doing this because you want to drive a manual RX-8 rather than worrying about the reliability of the 4 port renesis.
And if indeed this is the reason, you shouldn't buy an older car with more miles, the tradeoff IMO isn't worth it.
I know everyone on the board here is anti-slushbox, and while I do have a 6 speed mt, I just don't think a manual RX-8 is worth taking out a loan for if you already have the auto, especially if you have bad credit.
Bad credit + more unnecessary loans = potential worse credit if you're not 100% sure you can afford it.
Just my thoughts.

After I thought about it more I decided to keel my At...I can definitely afford a bigger payment but It makes no sense to buy the loaded 04 GT when I'm gonna upgrade parts no matter what so I'm gonna payoff the car get a personal loan and buy all my upgrades at once I def think its gonna be worth the wait
