I wouldn't do it.
I know you're probably doing this because you want to drive a manual RX-8 rather than worrying about the reliability of the 4 port renesis.
And if indeed this is the reason, you shouldn't buy an older car with more miles, the tradeoff IMO isn't worth it.
I know everyone on the board here is anti-slushbox, and while I do have a 6 speed mt, I just don't think a manual RX-8 is worth taking out a loan for if you already have the auto, especially if you have bad credit.
Bad credit + more unnecessary loans = potential worse credit if you're not 100% sure you can afford it.
Just my thoughts.
