2004 RX-8 Rebate

I know Mazda has the Spring in Motion sale with many of its Mazda cars but the RX-8 in not included. Could the RX-8 come into some type of rebate as the 2005 models come into play? Thnks

In general, sports and sportier type cars do not qualify for rebates : they sell well enough on their own merits!

For example, my last car was a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. You can frequently see sales and low interest offers on "all new Sentras" and if you read the fine print you see "offer excludes SE-R and Spec V"

On the other hand, the Ford SVT Focus regularly gets 0% offers. I'd guess it's just not selling on its own merits

I wouldn't expect to see any discounts from the factory for an RX-8. Dealers might do discounts to move inventory, but Mazda just plain doesn't need to discount such an awesome car

Thanks for the info. Fuel problems, rebate or not, I'll get my 8 soon.

I think any car be it sports car or family car will get rebates after their newness factor has worn and the sales start dropping. Right now now the RX-8 is still fairly new and we are going into it's biggest sales season for a car like this so that may be why there isnt a rebate yet, but I bet you will see rebates on the 2004 before the end of the year especially when the 2005 come out.

I got my car for under invoice so I know there are good deals on this car rebate or not.
